Heavenly Lipton
This new brand of Lipton tea is heavenly. The pyramid shape of the tea bag really does the trick. At first I thought it's not going to be a great discovery at all when I saw the commercials on TV. But I decided to try it anyway. Then my friend bought me a present for new year's and it was Lipton Vanilla Caramel Tea.
I took one bag out, went over to the kitchen, poured steaming hot water in my tea cup, put the tea bag in and waited for 3 minutes. I went out of the room in the meantime and when I came back the room was filled with light caramel scent.
I took the tea bag out and tried the tea for the first time... Heavenly smooth taste of just the right amount of vanilla aroma over the strong taste of caramel. Didn't use sugar, honey or anything else. I tell you, it was better then desert.

Twinings Vanilla Black Tea
For my first I chose Twinings Vanilla Black Tea. Ever since I tried it I cannot stop drinking it. Sure from time to time I try something new but I always come back to this evergreen among flavors. I like the soft vanilla flavor that I never seem to get quite enough. I take it with a little skimmed milk, no sugar, no honey. I like it that way. The only time I take a little honey with it is when I go out. There's a great restaurant not far from where I live and they serve Vanilla Tea in a nicely crafted little iron bowl, with some honey and milk on the side and a glass cup so you can clearly observe how the honey, milk and black tea mix themselves in a delicious mixture.
When I'm at home or at work though, I stick to plain Vanilla Black Tea with just a little milk so the taste is a little milder and it goes easier on my stomach. Definitely one of my personal favorites people and I definitely recommend it. You can't go wrong with this one if you're planning a tea party with something sweet to go along.
Speaking of something sweet... I bought a new cookie recipe magazine recently and I'm trying it out. So far I baked three different kinds of cookies and they all went pretty well. To go along with this wonderful cup of Vanilla Black Tea I recommend "Coconut Corners". They are made with cranberry jam so there's a nice little sour-sweetness about them. And if you dip them in some chocolate that would be just perfect.

It's a start
While having a cup of vanilla black tea with milk and flipping thru the latest home baked cookies magazine I decided to start a blog on different kinds of tea and what I like and don't like.
Many times I tried new flavors of tea and ended up disappointed. But there are a few that have been my favorites thru the years and now and then there is a new flavor that's absolutely delicious.
Of course I cannot imagine a wonderful cup of tea without cookies to go with. So to create wonderful Tea Times in the future I hope my blog will help you create a perfect combination of tea and cookies on the side.
Welcome!
